On 24 August 2026, an Il-76 aircraft of EMERCOM of Russia carried out a total of 3 (three) sorties: 2 (two) sorties over the Deliblato Sands area and 1 (one) sortie over the Vranje area.

During the firefighting operations, the aircraft dropped a total of 126 tonnes of water: 84 tonnes over the Deliblato Sands area and 42 tonnes over the Vranje area.

Since the start of its firefighting deployment, as of 24 August 2026, the Il-76 has carried out 22 sorties and dropped 924 tonnes of water on the fire areas.
