On 11 September 2026, an Il-76 aircraft of EMERCOM of Russia carried out a total of two firefighting sorties over the wildfire on Suva Planina.

During the operations, the aircraft dropped a total of 84 tonnes of water on the affected area.

Since the beginning of its firefighting mission in Serbia, the Il-76 has completed a total of 65 sorties, dropping 2,730 tonnes of water on wildfire areas.
