An Il-76 aircraft of the Russian Ministry for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (EMERCOM of Russia) landed at Constantine the Great Airport in Niš on the evening of August 19.

From August 20, the Il-76 has been deployed in firefighting operations in the Deliblato Sands, in coordination with the Helicopter Unit of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia.
