An Il-76 aircraft of EMERCOM of Russia continues firefighting operations in the Deliblato Sands Nature Reserve. Alongside the aviation operations, an operational group of EMERCOM of Russia and RSHC personnel visited the area where firefighting activities are being carried out.

The specialists familiarized themselves with the work of the operational headquarters and assessed the current situation and the scope of the activities carried out so far. The active involvement of RSHC personnel and members of the “IHC Humanitarian Team” volunteer association was also highlighted. They continue to work directly in the wildfire zone, where they have been deployed from the very beginning alongside the firefighters and rescuers of the Sector for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia.

Coordination between Russian and Serbian specialists is ongoing. Up-to-date information from the field is used to plan Il-76 flights, while teams on the ground receive timely information about planned water drops.

This coordination enables the efficient and synchronized deployment of aviation and ground forces in firefighting operations.
