Since early morning, the Il-76 aircraft of EMERCOM of Russia has been engaged in suppressing fire hotspots. During the day, the crew completed five sorties, dropping a total of 210 tonnes of water.
Representatives of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center, together with members of the “IHC Humanitarian Team” volunteer association, remain deployed in the Deliblato Sands Nature Reserve, where they have been supporting wildfire suppression efforts since August 6 at the request of the Emergency Management Sector of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia.
