Representatives of the Center took part in the international scientific conference “Theoretical and Practical Issues of Spatial Processes Research: Views of Russian and Serbian Geographers”, organized by the Center of the Russian Geographical Society in Serbia. The specialized faculties of the leading universities of Russia and Serbia were presented at the conference.
Deputy co-director Sergey Kachanov held the presentation on the topic: “Geoinformation systems in the tasks of preventing and eliminating natural disasters and man-made disasters.” Participants discussed space monitoring systems, possible emergency modelling, assessing the building condition using mobile diagnostic techniques.
