The Center instructors held a two-day seminar on “First Aid Providing” for the staff of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (RTR) in the Balkans. The journalists learned how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation using an automatic external defibrillator, familiarized themselves with the contents of a first aid kit, and learned about the options and possibilities for using improvised means to provide first aid, including stopping bleeding, immobilizing, and transporting the victim.
