On 23 August 2026, an Il-76 aircraft of EMERCOM of Russia carried out a total of 4 (four) sorties: 3 (three) sorties over the wildfire area in the Deliblato Sands and 1 (one) sortie in the Stolovi area.

During the firefighting operations, the aircraft dropped a total of 168 tonnes of water, including 126 tonnes over the Deliblato Sands area and 42 tonnes over the Stolovi area.

Since the aircraft began its firefighting operations, and as of today a total of 19 sorties have been carried out, with 798 tonnes of water dropped on the fire areas.
