On 26 August 2026, an Il-76 aircraft of EMERCOM of Russia carried out a total of 4 (four) sorties: 1 (one) sortie over the Deliblato Sands area, 1 (one) sortie over the wildfire area near Vranje, and 2 (two) sorties over the wildfire area near Prokuplje.

During the firefighting operations, the aircraft dropped a total of 168 tonnes of water: 42 tonnes over the Deliblato Sands area, 42 tonnes over the Vranje area, and 84 tonnes over the Prokuplje area.

Since the beginning of its firefighting deployment, as of 26 August 2026, the Il-76 has carried out a total of 26 sorties and dropped 1,092 tonnes of water on the fire areas.
