On 29 August 2026, an Il-76 aircraft of EMERCOM of Russia carried out a total of 5 (five) sorties: 2 (two) sorties over the wildfire area near Vranje, 2 (two) sorties over the Deliblato Sands area, and 1 (one) sortie over the Stolovi area.

During the firefighting operations, the aircraft dropped a total of 210 tonnes of water: 84 tonnes over the Vranje area, 84 tonnes over the Deliblato Sands area, and 42 tonnes over the Stolovi area.

Since the beginning of its firefighting deployment, as of 29 August 2026, the Il-76 has carried out a total of 34 sorties and dropped 1,428 tonnes of water on the fire areas.
