On 31 August 2026, an Il-76 aircraft of EMERCOM of Russia carried out a total of 2 (two) sorties over the wildfire area in the village of Planinica, Mionica Municipality, Kolubara District. During the firefighting operations, the aircraft dropped a total of 84 tonnes of water on the fire area.

Since the beginning of its firefighting deployment, as of 31 August 2026, the Il-76 has carried out a total of 37 sorties and dropped 1,554 tonnes of water on the fire areas.
