On 30 August 2026, an Il-76 aircraft of EMERCOM of Russia carried out 1 (one) sortie over the wildfire area near Cacak, in Kaona (Lucani Municipality). During the firefighting operation, the aircraft dropped a total of 42 tonnes of water on the fire area.

Since the beginning of its firefighting deployment, as of 30 August 2026, the Il-76 has carried out a total of 35 sorties and dropped 1,470 tonnes of water on the fire areas.
