On September 5, 2026, the IL-76 aircraft of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia carried out a total of 6 sorties in the wildfire area on mountain Suva Planina.

During this operation, the aircraft dropped a total of 1252 tonnes of water.

Since the beginning of its firefighting deployment, the Il-76 has carried out a total of 46 sorties and dropped of 1,932 tonnes of water  on the fire area.
