On 6 September 2026, an Il-76 aircraft of EMERCOM of Russia carried out a total of 5 (five) sorties: 3 (three) sorties over the wildfire area on Suva Planina and 2 (two) sorties over the wildfire area in the Deliblato Sands. During the firefighting operations, the aircraft dropped a total of 210 tonnes of water.

Since the beginning of its firefighting deployment, the Il-76 has carried out 51 sorties and dropped 2,142 tonnes of water on the fire areas.
