After several weeks of involvement in fighting fires across Serbia, which began on 19 August, the team with the Il-76 aircraft from EMERCOM of Russia has completed its mission in Serbia.

On 18 September 2026, at 23:18, the EMERCOM of Russia team with the Il-76 aircraft departed from Constantine the Great Airport in Nis and headed to Russia, where it will continue carrying out the tasks of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia.

We express our sincere gratitude to the entire Il-76 crew for their exceptional professionalism, dedication, and committed work during firefighting operations across Serbia.
