On August 25, 2026, the Russian EMERCOM Ilyushin Il-76 aircraft had a scheduled technical maintenance day in accordance with international aviation procedures.

Starting from August 26, 2026, the Ilyushin Il-76 will resume its firefighting operations in the Republic of Serbia.

Since the beginning of its deployment, as of August 25, 2026, the aircraft has carried out a total of 22 sorties and dropped 924 tonnes of water on wildfire-affected areas.
