A representative of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center took part via videoconference in the scientific conference “Application of Rescue Robotic Systems in Emergency Response and Search and Rescue Operations: Exchange of Experience in the Operation of Robotic Systems”, organized by the Main Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia for the Tyumen Region.
The Center’s representative delivered a presentation entitled “Operational Use of Unmanned Aerial Systems at the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center”, sharing the Center’s experience in using UAVs to monitor wildfire situations in hard-to-reach mountainous and forested areas.
The conference brought together representatives of rescue and law enforcement agencies, specialized organizations, and the expert community from Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus, as well as the Russian-Armenian Center for Humanitarian Response and the “LizaAlert” Search and Rescue Team.
