On May 19th as part of the festive events dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center (RACHR) in Yerevan, the Center’s representatives took part in the scientific and practical conference “Commonwealth in the Name of Salvation”, which took place and brought together presentations by experts on a wide range of issues in modern civil defense and emergency response. During the conference, an exchange of experience took place and modern challenges and solutions in the field of humanitarian response were discussed.
Then, on May 20th, RSHC representatives participated as observers at the international exercises that took place on the RACHR territory. Among the involved rescuers were representatives of the urgent services of Russia, Armenia, Algeria, Belarus, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Serbia.
A Cooperation Agreement was signed between the RSHC and the RACHR, which will expand the opportunities for interaction and exchange of experience between organizations in the field of prevention, response and elimination of consequences of emergencies.
