Representative of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center participated in the 8th meeting of the Scientific and Educational Committee of the International Civil Defense Organization (hereinafter referred to as ICDO SEC) and the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Periodic Changes in Automotive Designs, Rescue Problems.” The events took place at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan from September 30 to October 4.
During the committee meeting, issues related to the development of educational programs conducted under the auspices of the ICDO were discussed, as well as a unified vision for the role of the ICDO Scientific and Educational Committee in the organization’s strategic goals. Particular attention was paid to personnel training and international cooperation. To improve the quality of the scientific and educational process under the auspices of the ICDO, a Working Group of the ICDO SEC was established, which included the RSHC representative.
At the conference, the Center representative presented papers on “Methods for Improving Response to Road Accidents with Electric Vehicles” and “Ensuring the Safety of Electric Vehicles at Tunnels.”
In addition to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergencies, representatives of emergency services from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, Jordan, Algeria, and the Russian–Armenian center of humanitarian response participated in the events.
