From June 17 to 21, 2026, a representative of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center and 5 staff members of the Emergency Situations Sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia took part in the VIII Open Competition among fire and rescue services “Strongest Firefighter,” held in St. Petersburg.

A total of 16 teams from regions of Russia, the Republic of Belarus, and the Republic of Serbia participated in the event. The 16 teams included 83 men and 11 women, competing in individual and team races over a distance, in two categories: “Leader” and “Challenge.”
