On September 20, the final of the 47th international competition of firefighting and rescue units that fought for the award named after V. V. Dekhterev, took place in St. Petersburg.

Fourteen teams from various regions of Russia, Belarus, and Serbia competed in the legendary competition.

The competition program included two exercises:

  • Overcoming a psychological fire line;
  • Reconnaissance in a “non-breathable environment” – a two-level ship deck superstructure – and extinguishing a simulated fire.

The Serbian team, consisting of five firefighters-rescuers from the EMS of MI of Serbia, took a respectable fifth place.

Preparation for the competition was conducted by the Center’s instructors at the RSHC training ground.

The Serbian team is taking part in this competition since 2015.
