The Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center conducted three five-day training courses on “UAV Operations in Emergency and Fire Response” for a total of nine members of the public association “Humanitarian Team IHC”.
The program combined classroom instruction with intensive practical training, enabling participants to develop fundamental drone piloting skills and learn how unmanned aerial vehicles can support aerial fire monitoring, hotspot detection, and situational assessment in hard-to-reach areas. A dedicated part of the course focused on cooperation between UAV operators and firefighters of the Emergency Management Sector of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia during wildfire suppression operations.
The training concluded with realistic simulation exercises in which participants practiced deploying drones at active-fire scenes, transmitting real-time information, analyzing aerial data, and coordinating with the incident commander.
Training period: July 13–31, 2026.
