On April 28, the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center marked its 14th anniversary by hosting an Open Day for representatives of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia, led by First Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Interior Ivica Dacic.
More than 100 representatives of the Ministry of Interior were introduced to the Center’s technical resources, training capacities, and operational capabilities. During the visit, guests toured specialized training classrooms focused on technical rescue operations, tactical ventilation, and response to chemical incidents, as well as the Center’s warehouse and humanitarian response equipment containers.
Special attention was given to the Center’s training complexes — “Shturm,” “Rescuer Path,” and “Labyrinth” — along with demonstrations of first aid training and the use of unmanned aerial systems in emergency response operations.
The highlight of the program was a live demonstration at the RSHC fire and rescue training ground, showcasing tactical ventilation of smoke-filled spaces, forcible entry techniques, response to chemical incidents, the use of the “Cobra” firefighting system, urban search and rescue in collapsed structures, and emergency response to gas pipeline damage. Visitors also observed firefighter training exercises on the “Phoenix” live-fire simulator.
The event concluded with a formal ceremony in the Center’s expo hall, where plaques of appreciation were presented in recognition of outstanding support and contribution to the work of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center, followed by remarks from Minister Ivica Dacic and the leadership of the Center.
