At the invitation of the Petrovaradin Volunteer Fire Department, the Center representatives attended the “Firefighting Challenge 2024” competition as observers on June 8, 2024, in Novi Sad.
Twenty-two teams participated, i.e., 88 competitors representing volunteer fire departments from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Croatia. The competition consisted of a real-life simulation of 5 field exercises, each representing a different firefighting situation.
