In cooperation with volunteer rescue organizations, specialists of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center attended the Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia (GSS) demonstration exercises at Zlatibor mountain on 11-12 of April, 2021.
During the exercises, various evacuating passengers from different cabins of the cable car “Gold Gondola Zlatibor” with mountaineering equipment were practised, including the situation when the cable car was hovering over the lake. The staff of the Center, in an instructor role, followed the training. In summarizing the exercises, experienced rescuers of the operational team of the Center noted the high level of training and coordination of GSS representatives.
