On September 25-26, 2024, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Firefighting and Rescue Operations in Elimination of the Consequences of Traffic Accidents with Electric Vehicles” was held at the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center.
The conference brought together more than 120 representatives of specialized universities of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, the Serbian Ministry of Interior, the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry, organizations and institutions that are involved in training personnel and developing new fire extinguishing methods from Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Armenia, and 35 organizations also joined the conference via videoconferencing.
Specialists from Russia, Serbia, and Belarus spoke at the conference and discussed issues of fire extinguishing, emergency rescue, and other urgent operations in eliminating the consequences of accidents with electric vehicles, as well as finding effective means of fighting fires on vehicles using batteries.
During the event, demonstration exercises were held to eliminate the consequences of accidents involving electric vehicles, and the possibilities of training specialists in fire extinguishing, prevention, and elimination of consequences of emergencies on RSHC territory using training and simulator complexes were demonstrated. The conference participants were also able to get acquainted with the exhibition display of manufacturers of fire and rescue equipment and scientific and educational organizations.
