The leadership of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center, as part of the delegation of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia, lead by Minister Aleksandar Vulin took part in activities within the framework of the International Salon “Integrated Security 2021” in Moscow.

Serbian Minister of Interior Aleksandar Vulin had a meeting with the Russian Minister of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters Yevgeny Zinichev, during which he noted the successful cooperation between the two ministries in the relevant field and thanked the host party for their sincere assistance in increasing the potential of Serbia through the transfer of equipment and training of employees of fire and rescue units.

“Minister Zinichev supported Serbia during hard times in our history. Whenever it was difficult, when humanitarian disasters threatened us, the Russian Emergencies Ministry was with us, as well as the staff of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center from Nis” – Minister Vulin said after the meeting.

During the meeting, both parties agreed about continuing the cooperation and new projects that should help to increase the level of preparedness and provide preventive measures in case of emergencies.

“We also agreed that specialists from EMERCOM of Russia would come to our country and check the resistance of our buildings to earthquakes,” said Minister Vulin.

“EMERCOM of Russia is probably the largest and the most organized ministry in the world that deals with prevention and elimination of the consequences of various natural disasters” – said Minister Vulin, stressing out that any assistance provided to Serbia by the Ministry was always on time, complete in terms of content and never associated with any political conditions.

“I am grateful that we will continue our cooperation, and I am sure that thanks to joint education and training, we will be able to learn a lot from each other,” said Minister Vulin.

Minister Zinichev noted that EMERCOM of Russia is always ready to share the experience that is of interest to the Serbian side, and the specialists of the Ministry will always help Serbian partners in case of emergencies. The Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center regularly provides Serbian colleagues with practical support in eliminating the consequences of emergencies. Yevgeny Zinichev said that the Russian Emergencies Ministry would continue to develop the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center, which is the largest and unique organization in the Balkans.

At the end of his working visit to Russia, the Minister of Interior of Serbia visited the 13th International Salon “Integrated Security 2021” and got acquainted with new achievements in improving equipment and instruments used in emergency situations.
