The summer period is not only summer holidays – “year of odmori” but for the staff of the RSGC – it is preparation for the completion of the training year 2019 and with this active participation of the Center and its resources in working with the voluntary structures of Serbia to organize and conduct events of a sporting and educational nature – camps, competitions, regattas. RSGC provides all kinds of assistance to volunteer organizations – tents, camp equipment, equipment, participation of their rescuers.
Summer is a season for athletes who are passionate about paragliding, an interesting but not safe sport that requires careful preparation. From July 29 to August 4, there are competitions in the vicinity of Nisha, and then – on Kopaonica, in TheOrupla and Vrsac.
The Serbian Rescue Team (CSU) and the Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) ensure the safety of such competitions and the RSPCA is their partner. Now in Nis, international competitions are held, in which 164 pilots from 20 countries take part. Heavily rugged terrain, gorges, mountains and forests, cause special attention to the development of safety measures. The RSGC provides A NIVA car, Centre staff, equipment, communications equipment and more that may be necessary in organizing and holding competitions.
The competition in Nis was successful, without injuries or injuries. All participants will have the best memories of Serbian hospitality, wonderful nature. At the event at the end of the competition, all its participants expressed gratitude to the local organizations that ensured the holding of such a large-scale international event.
