From May 30 to June 2, representatives of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center participated in the international exercises of volunteer rescuers “RESCUE 2025”, organized by “Edelweiss”, a part of the European Association of Civil Protection Volunteer Teams (EVOLSAR), in the village of Torro di Rogerio, Italy.

Rescuers from Italy, Malta, France, and Serbia practiced searching and rescuing victims from under rubble in urban conditions in the event of an earthquake. Work was carried out to dismantle and break through concrete structures using a manual hydraulic tool, followed by a search, extraction, and provision of first aid to the victims. Following the results, volunteer rescuers shared their experiences of practical work in their countries. The built-up RSHC training ground center was also presented, and the possibilities of training European volunteer teams at the Center’s training sites were discussed.
