From October 6 to 8, representatives of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center took part in the expedition “Russian Road – 2023”, organized by the Russian House in Belgrade on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the start of construction of the mountain road “Vranje – Bosilegrad,” better known as the “Russian Road.”
Russian Cossacks built the road in the inaccessible mountainous region of Serbia, and it is a significant part of Russian historical heritage in the Balkans.
The event was attended by the Serbian Scout Rangers Society of Novi Sad, the Association of Cyclists “M-Bike” from Belgrade, the Scout Volunteer Society, the mountaineering club “Zeleznicar 2006” and the Secondary Technical School of Kragujevac.
