From December 12 to 13, the Center representatives participated in the International Emergency Drone Conference “IEDO CONF 2022”, organized by the International Emergency Drone Organization.
The conference brought together representatives from more than 20 countries, both drone manufacturers and operators. The conference participants got acquainted with the latest models of unmanned aerial vehicles of various modifications and the existing possibilities for territory monitoring during emergencies using drones. Colleagues shared their experience in piloting drones and monitoring territories after emergencies, such as an earthquake in Croatia, a landslide in Norway, searching for victims in the Carpathian Mountains of Romania, surveying the region after floods in Germany and an explosion in Beirut, etc. Particular attention was devoted to working in extreme conditions and specialized training on the strategy for emergency acting for operators and instructors.
