On August 28, the Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia (GSS) held an exercise: “Search and rescue operations in the gorge” on Vucjanka river near Leskovac.
The lifting of the victim from a deep gorge, rescuing on fast mountain rivers, guiding crossings and moving people by using mountaineering equipment were trained.
The Center staff attended the exercises as observers; RSHC equipment was provided.
