From June 2 to 6, the regional course of the International Civil Defense Organization on the topic “Basics of Rope Rescue Operations” was held at the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center for 10 representatives of the Emergency Management Sector of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia.
During the five-day course, participants mastered the key skills necessary for safe work at height and rescue in complex urban and natural conditions through theoretical and practical work.
The program covered topics such as the use of rescue and mountaineering equipment, anchoring and rappelling, self-belaying, first aid, including casualty scenarios, and suspended syndrome. Special emphasis was placed on practical rescue exercises in confined spaces and from heights.
All participants received ICDO certificates.
