With the assistance of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center, from November 7 to 12, the delegation of the St. Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of EMERCOM of Russia led by the university head Bogdan Gavkalyuk visited Serbia.
On November 8, the University delegation was received by the mayor of Nis D. Sotirovski. During the meeting, sides discussed the expansion of cooperation in emergency response and the scientific and technical sphere.
On the same day, representatives of the St. Petersburg University of State Fire Service visited the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center. The Center leadership presented RSHC main activities and development prospects. The delegation got acquainted with classrooms and complexes which are used for training and professional development in emergencies prevention and elimination. Sides agreed to continue joint work in the education and training of firefighters and rescuers in Serbia.
On November 10, the head of the St. Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the EMERCOM of Russia B. Gavkalyuk met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia B. Jocic. They discussed the continuation of cooperation in education and training for fire and rescue units, which is carried out through the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center.
The delegation visited the Russian Science and Culture Center for (Russian House) in Belgrade, the Criminal Police University of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia, the industrial complex Petrochemija, where they agreed about further interaction via signing agreements of cooperation.
