Delegation of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies Visits Serbia

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations delegation, led by Deputy Minister Roman Kurinin, paid a working visit to the Republic of Serbia from December 17 to 20, 2024.

On December 18, the delegation visited the Institute for Health Protection under the Ministry of Interior of Serbia. Representatives of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center (RSHC), in the presence of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Mirsad Djerlek, and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia, Dragan Zagradjanin, donated three generators to the Ministry of Health. One generator was handed over to the Bujanovac Health Center, while the other two were allocated to the Institute for Health Protection under the Ministry of Interior of Serbia.

On December 19, a regular meeting of the RSHC Management Board took place, where plans for the Center’s development and prospects were discussed. The Russian Ministry of Emergencies delegation reviewed the Center’s material and technical resources, including classrooms, warehouses, and fire-fighting and rescue training facilities. A functional demonstration of certain simulators at the RSHC training grounds was conducted with the participation of representatives from the EMS MI of Serbia, the Volunteer Firefighting Department “Stevan Sindjelic,” “Airports of Serbia,” and “NIS.” Additionally, two vehicles equipped with the “Cobra” system were donated to support the Emergency Management Sector.

Later that day, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, met at the Palace of Serbia. During the meeting, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia presented medals and honorary certificates to representatives of the Emergency Management Sector, Volunteer Fire Departments, and the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center in recognition of their exceptional contributions.
