On May 23, members of the volunteer fire brigade’s Aleksinac and Kisac took part in a training course on “Basics of Firefighter-Rescuer Operations in a Smoke-Filled Environment.”
Through theoretical and practical sessions, participants were introduced to personal protective equipment and the proper use of breathing apparatus. Special attention was given to breathing techniques, movement, search procedures in smoke-filled environments, and nozzle handling during indoor firefighting operations.
The training concluded with a practical exercise involving search operations in a smoke-filled environment and hydraulic ventilation, combining all elements practiced during the course.
