A meeting of the Board of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center was held in the Nizhny Novgorod Region with the participation of a delegation from the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia and the leadership of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center.

The visit program included a series of working meetings and professional exchanges focused on emergency prevention and response. During the first days of the visit, the delegation became acquainted with the work of key divisions of the regional EMERCOM of Russia, visited the GAZ automobile plant museum, and toured the “Sovcombank Arena” stadium, where modern fire safety solutions were presented.

The Board meeting took place at the Main Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

Special attention was given to cooperation in the fields of civil protection, rescue operations, and the use of specialized equipment. The delegation also visited the Volga Regional Search and Rescue Unit and the 10th Fire and Rescue Unit, where the operational capabilities and organization of the units were presented.

The visit took place from May 19 to 22, 2026, and contributed to strengthening cooperation between Russia and Serbia in the field of emergency prevention and response, as well as to the exchange of professional experience between the two ministries.
