On November 5, “Orientation in natural environment” theoretical training was held at the RSHC for 15 members of the public association “Humanitarian Team IHC” with the involvement of the Mountaineering Association of Serbia representative. The participants acquired basic knowledge and skills of navigating in the natural environment, became familiar with the basics of using a topographic map, recognizing signs on the map, using a compass, and distinguishing landmarks in space.
The members of the association showed great interest, and the acquired knowledge will be of importance for further activities of the association and participation in future trainings and exercises.
