At the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center’s training ground, on April 4, a demonstration of the first technical test of the “Phoenix” fire simulator, designed for use with open flames, was conducted.

The session included a detailed illustration of the fire’s neutral zone and techniques for operating in environments with a restricted oxygen supply. High-risk fire phenomena, such as rollover and smoke gas flashovers, were also simulated, along with tactical response methods. These included the use of fire hoses for atmospheric cooling to prevent smoke explosions, as well as hydraulic ventilation using firefighting equipment.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of high-quality protective firefighting gear and the skills required to operate effectively in high-temperature environments.

The demonstration was attended by representatives of the Sector for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia, along with officials from “Elixir Group,” “Airports of Serbia,” and the “Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS).”
