At the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center, a group of ten firefighters and rescuers from the Emergency Management Sector of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia completed a three-day training course on “Firefighting Tactics at Various Types of Facilities.”
During the training, participants refreshed their knowledge of safe operation with breathing apparatus while working on the Center’s training simulators. They practiced operations in confined spaces and search techniques in small areas. The firefighters also trained door breaching, hose line deployment, and other key firefighting tactics.
At the “Tactical City” training complex, Serbian firefighters practiced realistic scenarios in a smoke-filled multi-storey building, including fire suppression, search and evacuation of a victim, and hydraulic ventilation of smoke-filled spaces.
The training took place from March 9 to 11.
