Personnel of the Civil Protection Administration of Republic of Srpska (BiH) completed the “Basics of Smoke Diver Operations” course at the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center from March 30 to April 3.

The program focused on hands-on training, with participants practicing door breaching, hose line deployment, firefighting tactics, and hydraulic ventilation in smoke-filled environments. At the same time, they reinforced their skills in breathing apparatus use, operating in confined spaces, and survival and self-rescue techniques.

The training concluded with complex practical scenarios in a smoke-filled multi-storey building, where participants carried out search and rescue operations. All eight firefighters successfully passed the final assessment, demonstrating strong skills and a high level of motivation for further development.
