COURSES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS OF RUSSIA IN ST. PETERSBURG (03.06. 08.06.2019)
The Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Centre continues to contribute to strengthening the friendship of the peoples of Russia and Serbia by improving the equipment of the Sector's units and improving the professional level of their personnel.
The decision of the Government of Serbia (2017) to transfer to the ownership of the Serbian Interior Ministry the building, which currently houses the RSGC, gave a new impetus to the development of the Center, its transformation into a logistics and training and regional training center.
In the same year, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia handed over the RSGC training complex Sturm, which became a tool for the Emergency Training Branch to train rescue firefighters. In 2019, the Center will be supplied and installed three classrooms, with all equipment for specialized classes with national staff and a permanent exhibition of samples of professional equipment will open.
At the same time, the training of specialists from the Balkan countries in the universities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia on topics of greatest interest to local specialized organizations continues.
And now, at the University of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg, from 03.05. – 08.05.2019, trained on the topic: "Organization and conduct of rescue and other emergency work in flood conditions." 10 Serbian specialists (senior Soran Lazic from Shabac), two from Northern Macedonia (senior -Arif Arif from Tetov), and two from Bosnia and Herzegovina- Haris Ramic – from the Federal Office for Protection and Aleksandar Naumovich – a representative of the republican administration of the GJ.
Courses in St. Petersburg were completed in the first half of 2019. The study will continue in the autumn.
I would like to note that in addition to a useful curriculum, our Balkan colleagues were able to enjoy the "white nights" of the northern capital and a well-organized holiday.
The leadership of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center plans to continue the process of improving the skills of national personnel using the experience of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, more widely practicing training at the Center, based on the training base being created at the Center and with the involvement of Russian specialists.
