New rescue team in RSGC

Every three months a new team of rescue workers from the Russian Emergencies Ministry arrives at the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center. They are selected in accordance with the experience and profile areas that are most relevant for Serbia.

Team leader: Alexey Sokolov – first class lifeguard, veterinarian by education. His specialty: work on man-made accidents, search and rescue operations in urban environments and natural environments. He has participated in a number of international operations: Haiti, Indonesia, etc.

Konstantin Gavrilov is one of the most experienced rescuers, an international class specialist and a Red Cross first aid instructor, and he has been with the Centrospas squad for more than 20 years. On his account participation in numerous operations in the regions of Russia, anti-terrorist operations, in particular, infamous in Beslan.

Pavel Staritsky is a second-class lifeguard with extensive experience in mountain rescue in winter conditions, as well as experience of international cooperation while working at the FEMA humanitarian center in Armenia.
