From December 8 to 12, the Center instructors conducted practical training titled “Search, Extrication, First Aid, and Transportation of Victims in Collapsed Structures” at the “Zaval (Rubble)” training complex for 10 members of the EMS of MI of Serbia.
During the training, participants practiced search and rescue operations in collapsed environments, mastered safe working procedures in rubble, methods of reconnaissance and marking of structures, techniques for stabilization and shoring, as well as the use of rescue tools and breaching techniques.
Special attention was given to searching for victims, providing first aid, performing medical triage, and ensuring the safe extrication and transportation of the injured.
