From March 2 to 6, 2026, an instructor of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center took part in the International Practical Seminar “Fire Reconnaissance, Emergency Reconnaissance, Firefighter Rescue, and Smoke and Gas Control During Fires”, held in Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia, Russia.

Over the course of five days, the Center’s representative delivered both theoretical and practical training sessions on modern approaches to fire reconnaissance, actions in case of team separation, and tactical ventilation of buildings during live-fire training exercises. Special attention was given to the concept of “ventilation for life” — ventilating evacuation routes to improve survivability — as well as the ventilation of premises where the fire has already been extinguished.

The seminar provided an excellent platform for professional exchange, bringing together specialists from Russia, Serbia, Belarus, and Armenia.
