MOGO Workshop in Moscow
The Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia hosted an International Seminar of heads of higher education institutions of the countries participating in the International Civil Defense Organization (IGO). The event was attended by representatives of universities and civil protection agencies from 16 countries participating in the MOGO (Azerbaijan, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Egypt, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, South Korea and Russia).
The Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Centre was represented by its director Bojan Glamochlia. The seminar noted the increased interaction between MOGO and RSGK, including the transformation of the Centre into a logistics regional center of MOGO and, possibly, the acquisition of the RSGC as a training and training center.
It is important to note that only during this year MOGO sent goods to the RSGC for use in the areas of civil protection and, if necessary, subsequent transfer to the relevant departments and structures of the Balkan States.
Among the issues discussed, of course, were the issues of training specialists in the field of GO, the development of training and methodological programs, certification of training.
