From April 15 to 17, Dmitry Melnik, Director of the International Cooperation Department of EMERCOM of Russia, paid a working visit to the Republic of Serbia.

On April 16, a meeting was held in Belgrade with Slobodan Nedeljković, Advisor to the Minister and Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in the field of emergency response, as well as the further development of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center.

During his visit to Niš on April 17, the delegation was presented with the Center’s technical capabilities and fire and rescue training ground, where demonstration exercises were held with the participation of firefighters and rescuers from the Niš Fire and Rescue Unit and members of the “IHC Humanitarian Team.” Representatives of the Kragujevac Fire and Rescue Unit also attended the event.
