Volunteer fire brigade members from Kragujevac and Subotica took part in a one-day training on “Basics of Firefighter-Rescuer Operations in a Smoke-Filled Environment” on April 18.
Participants gained hands-on experience with personal protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus, combining theory with practical drills. The focus was on breathing techniques, movement, and search in low-visibility conditions.
The training wrapped up with a realistic search exercise in a smoke-filled environment, where participants put their newly acquired skills into action.
