The Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center (RSHC) took part in the national operational and practical exercise “System 2021”, held on November 5 in 24 cities and 26 municipalities in Serbia. The exercise was carried out by order of the President of the Republic of Serbia A.Vucic under the management of the Chief of the Republican Emergency Headquarters – Minister of Interior of Serbia A. Vulin.
More than 8,000 people took part in the exercise – the Emergency Management Sector of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia, fire and rescue units, the Serbian army, local authorities, the Mountain Rescue Service, the Red Cross, other organizations, as well as employees of the Civil Protection Directorate of the Republika Srpska (BiH).
RSHC, in the amount of 4 people with vehicles and boats, took part in the episode “flood rescue and evacuation” on the Drina river. According to the scenario, RSHC set up temporary placement centres in three locations in Nis.
