The Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center hosted its first training course of 2026 titled “Basics of Smoke Diver Operations – Advanced level”, designed for eight professional firefighters from ELIXIR GROUP.

Throughout the program, participants refreshed and expanded the knowledge gained during their basic training. They learned advanced techniques for using thermal imaging cameras to locate and identify victims in smoke-filled environments, casualty evacuation methods with ropes and fire hoses, as well as self-rescue procedures and tactical ventilation techniques.

The course also included practical drills on hose line deployment and breaching various types of entry doors using hand tools.

A dedicated training module focused on rescue operations and providing first aid to fire victims.

Training dates: January 12–16.
